Blueberry Netting

Our birds like our blueberries as much as we do, that is why we have to put netting over our bushes.  It's a family project!:)  Here we are, back in June, putting up the netting.

We have four different varieties of blueberries, and all but one are done putting out fruit for the year.  In a week or so, we will pick the last of them.  Due to the extreme drought last fall, our bushes did not produce abundantly this year, but we had a nice amount.  So we are focusing on watering them well this summer, and we put down some cedar mulch, in hopes of having more blueberries than we know what to do with next year (translated...some to sell! ).  :)
